COULD TV news and local mainstream media – specifically, newspapers – please publish the daily number of new Covid-19 cases? Of late there is none.
While most of us have had at least two doses of vaccines people are still dying from the virus: four weeks ago, my friend died from Covid-19 complications.
Daily figures shouldn’t frighten the populace but help us decide when to limit going out if we have nothing urgent to do outside the home if the daily figure rises.
Many older folk aren’t tech savvy enough to search for the data on websites. All we need is the simple figure of the total number of new cases for the day; we don’t even need a state-by-state breakdown.
