PATRIOT takes very serious offence at politicians who go against the wishes of His Majesty in his attempt to ensure a new government can be formed in the best interests of the nation and his subjects. The public rejection of His Majesty’s suggestion to work towards a unity government is treacherous. It has irresponsibly set a precedent and Patriot – whose members have served His Majesty in the nation’s security forces – will not tolerate this dangerous position.
Patriot stands by our King and in this regard we honour the position taken by others in response to His Majesty’s aspirations for the nation. We sternly remind those who rejected the advice that had their opponents done so, they would have immediately labelled them “penderhaka” (traitor).
Patriot demands an immediate public apology from all politicians who blurted out to the media that they will not adhere to His Majesty’s advice. Such a stance undermines our Constitutional monarchy and sets a very, very dangerous precedent.
