OF the many causes of road accidents and fatalities, there are three dangerous habits that must be arrested without further delay.
One is the common habit among motorists of tailgating at high speeds. Two, buses and lorries do not observe the mandated minimum distance when behind vehicles; many of them can be seen abruptly overtaking barely 1.5m to 3m behind another vehicle. Third, overtaking at high speeds from the left has become a common practice too among motorists.
