Don’t let animals hang around eateries

CLEANLINESS in food preparation and serving in restaurants is, of course, paramount – so restaurant operators must ensure there are no animals on their premises.

This seems to be a Malaysian thing, to have strays, usually cats, hanging around. Some people, out of the kindness of their hearts, throw bits of food at the cats, which encourages them to gather around. The cats also eat leftovers, jumping onto tables and licking plates before they are cleared away. This is most disgusting to see and I for one cannot stomach the sight!
