MCA welcomes the announcement by Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin that the Health Ministry has approved applications by contract medical, dental and pharmaceutical officers for permanent positions for this year.
According to the Health Minister, this is also the highest number of permanent positions given out since the contract policy began in 2016. The Health Ministry will also absorb at least 1,500 contract staff into permanent positions every year.
