“If you give a man a fish, you feed him for a day. If you teach a man to fish, you feed him for a lifetime” – with this adage in mind, Wanita MCA embarked on an Emancipation and Empowerment Mission or E2 in short to give underprivileged women a headstart on standing on their own again.

At a cheque presentation ceremony at the MCA Headquarters on 13 August 2022, Wanita MCA national chairperson Datuk Heng Seai Kie informed that the women’s wing of MCA had fundraised RM20,000 for single mother Loh Siew Hong. The public’s contributions indicate the community’s support and common good to see Siew Hong recover and rebuild her life.
