Why are we spending money on studying the four-day work week?

AS I was drafting this letter, I read a news report quoting the president of Cuepacs (Congress of Unions of Employees in the Public and Civil Services), Datuk Adnan Mat, as saying that the study on a four-day work week is irrelevant and useless and that the government should prioritise matters that benefit workers, especially the welfare of civil servants, rather than matters that can’t be implemented just yet.

I fully support the Cuepacs president’s opinion.
