Suhakam’s ability to perform in question with new chairman, commissioners

SUARAM expresses its concern and disappointment for the recent appointment of Suhakam chairman and commissioners.

We are of the view that these appointments made by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob do not reflect the independence and core values of Suhakam as the National Human Rights Institution (NHRI) of Malaysia.
