MALAYA and Indonesia were the dominant forces in world badminton during the 1950s and 60s, winning the Thomas Cup at regular intervals.
The last time Malaysia won the coveted Thomas Cup was in 1992, that also, after a lapse of a quarter of a century, in 1967.
