A REPORT recently revealed that Malaysia currently holds the top position for the percentage of women as board members in Asia. This is great news in support of gender diversity, as fairer representation is key to good corporate governance.

Hence, Malaysia must keep up the momentum and continue nurturing talented, competent women to take up board positions and reach the targeted 30% representation (from the current 26%), to create a more inclusive and fairer society for women at all levels.
