Russia-Ukraine: Malaysian civil society organisations condemn invasion

WE, the undersigned civil society organisations, strongly condemn Russia’s aggression and stand in solidarity with Ukrainians in defending their sovereign and independent nation. We also condemn the Russian government for its actions and brutality, including arresting protesters against the war.

Russia's use of armed forces that began on Feb 24 is an act of aggression and is against the peace and security enshrined under the the fundamental principles of the United Nations Charter, and may amount to a war crime and a crime against humanity. It has infringed the fundamental human rights of all Ukrainians and endangered the safety of humans all over the world.
