DESPITE the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, Malaysia’s technology sector is expected to grow by 8% this year. It is also expected to sustain this growth in the coming years.
The sector’s projected growth is due to the increasing use of smartphones, communications, high-performance computers, the Internet of Things (IoT) and, to a certain extent, the trade and technology rivalry between China and the United States.
