Establish migrant workers’ affairs department

MILLIONS of migrant workers, documented or otherwise, are keeping Malaysia’s economic sectors in motion. Unfortunately, we constantly hear of the unfair treatment of these vulnerable migrant workers, especially as forced labour indicators.

Though such issues need to be comprehensively addressed, the country has yet to establish a specialised platform to address the grievances, complaints and concerns of migrant workers.
