How many years do we need to keep our receipts?

RECENTLY, I went to check on and settle any outstanding fines from traffic offences I might have committed in view of the generous discounts made available by the police.

There were three fines, of which I settled two. The third one was the purported offence of beating traffic lights that took place in 2012. Since it had not been settled for so long, there was no discount – but for a pensioner the full amount of RM300 is quite steep in these difficult times.
