I REFER to your reports on the issue of school dropouts, “Helping check dropout crisis” (The Star, Dec 8).
To recap from the reports, the Education Ministry had revealed in a written reply in the Dewan Rakyat that a total of 21,316 students dropped out of school during the Covid-19 pandemic from March 2020 to July this year.
