I WAS diagnosed with breast cancer and admitted to a hospital in Selangor for a mastectomy. My doctor informed me to admit myself at 8am on Sunday, Nov 28, as the surgery was scheduled for the next morning.
After registering and submitting the required documents to the ward concerned, I was told to return at 2pm because no bed was available. When I returned at 2pm as directed, I was told to sit on a sofa until a bed was found for me. I finally got the bed at 4.30pm.
