THE Education Ministry introduced the School-Based Assessment (PBS) system for secondary schools in 2011, and followed this later with the Classroom-Based Assessment (PBD) method.
The aim of the exercise was to reduce the emphasis on academic achievement through examinations, thereby allowing students to enjoy the learning process.
