It’s time to revamp TVET


TO produce sufficient workers qualified in TVET (technical and vocational education and training) for the country, we must start in the schools. Also, students and parents should change their mindset and realise that TVET offers many opportunities as a career pathway.

I was a technical teacher in government secondary schools, both in the urban and rural environment, for more than 35 years.
