FOR the past two weeks, there has been much ado about the word Timah, the name of the award-winning Malaysian whisky, on both mainstream as well as social media.
I am aghast at how the name Timah has suddenly become so controversial. Claims that it should not be used for a whisky made in Malaysia are pathetic, as there are other brands of whisky with names like Shahib and Hadi in the market.
