ON Sept 7, Rosli Dahlan, my learned friend from the Bar, through an article in a local English daily sought to explain why passing a motion of confidence in the Dewan Rakyat to confirm the appointment of the prime minister is unnecessary as a matter of principle, and also unwise in practice given the situation in our country, which is battling the Covid-19 pandemic.
His arguments deserve our attention.
