Protect children with vaccination before sending them back to school

OUR children’s safety is crucial. They must be protected from Covid-19 before they return to face-to-face classes in schools in October. The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends that children aged 12 and older should be vaccinated. As with adults, vaccines can help children from getting seriously sick even if they do get Covid-19.

In May 2021, Malaysia’s then Health Minister reported that 82,341 infants and children had tested positive for the disease. Of those, 19,851 cases were children below the age of four while 8,237 cases were aged five to six.
