WHEN the Undi18 Bill was unanimously passed in Parliament in July 2019, it marked an unprecedented moment of bipartisanship. Politicians from both sides of the aisle united to recognise the country’s youth as an important component of the electorate. It brought hope of a new era of Malaysian politics, symbolising a future that would be shaped by the youth.
However, Undi18 has yet to be implemented.
