DURING the first movement control order period, over 20 cases of Covid-19 were detected in the Petaling Jaya Old Town Market. Overnight, the authorities moved in and the entire area around the market was cordoned off with barbed wire. Migrant workers, upon seeing the authorities, fled for the fear of being detained.
That cluster involved mainly migrant workers and tracing them became a challenging exercise as most were in hiding.
