Doctors are frontliners and must be vaccinated now

DOCTORS are frontliners and need to be vaccinated during Phase 1 of the National Immunisation Programme. This matter has been brought to the attention of the Health Ministry, which has replied that it is not sure whether all doctors are frontliners and advised those concerned to wait for notifications via the MySejahtera app.

This is ridiculous because we see patients every day and now the ministry is expecting us to vaccinate people when we are not even vaccinated ourselves. The Malaysian Medical Association (MMA) is also not helpful. Calls made to MMA also received the same reply -– that they are not sure whether doctors are frontliners and to wait for notifications in MySejahtera.
