THE sixth economic stimulus package, People and Economic Strategic Empowerment Programme (Pemerkasa), introduced by the Perikatan Nasional-led government on Wednesday (March 17) proves the latter’s strong commitment and a great sense of responsibility to safeguard and protect the rakyat’s lives and livelihoods during this Covid-19-induced period.
The more focused approach to help businesses recover under this package - with special attention for tourism and retail sectors, the B40 group who lost their jobs and the disabled, women and youths would ensure that millions and millions of rakyat would be getting the benefits - that there is just something they can look forward to and that no one will be left out.
