HOCKEY enthusiasts in Ipoh woke up to refreshing news in StarSport on Friday about commitment from the Malaysian Hockey Confede-ration (MHC) to turn the game into the No.1 sport in the country (“Make hockey great again”, March 12; online at bit.ly/star_great). Such commitment from a high level is long overdue.
We were further elated to read that there is a “much improved National Hockey Development Programme (NHDP)” led by Datuk Dr S. Shamala.
