Malaysian students can relate to that local accent

I AM an ex-banker who chose to become a teacher in a suburban area, and I feel obliged to respond to the outpouring of criticism at the recent DidikTV Science lesson.

As someone who used to deal with corporate figures and who now works with pupils from financially-strained families with a brittle grasp of English, I have to lower the standard of my English so that students can follow the lessons.
