Show patriotism by fighting corruption

Regrettably, Malaysia has dropped six spots (to 57th out of 180 countries) in the 2020 Transparency International Corruption Perception Index (CPI), which measures public sector corruption, for example bribery, corrupt diversion of public funds and use of public office for private gain, and nepotism in the civil service.

It seems we need to flatten both the Covid-19 pandemic and corruption curves. As vaccines for Covid-19 are now available, the pandemic of corruption is arguably the larger threat to our nation’s progress.
