Put students out of their misery

THE number of new Covid-19 cases recorded daily has been on the high side since November 2020 when the postponement of major government exams including the Malaysian Certificate of Education (SPM), Malaysian Higher School Certificate (STPM), and Malaysian Vocational Certificate (SVM) was announced.

After the announcement, several parents, including me, wrote a letter urging the Education Ministry to conduct the necessary classes for Form 5 and Form 6 students in December. Schools then would be quite empty because students in the other forms would not be around. But our request was met with deaf ears.
