More can be done in the war against Covid

The recent CMCO 2.0 (Conditional Movement Control Order) is really very disappointing. The economy is once again badly hurt (with Loan Moratorium ended) and plunging all of us into uncertainty again. The National Security Council (MKN) was very slack when it did not impose safety measures like testing and quarantine on those travelling between Sabah and other Malaysian states, thus causing a sudden spike in cases all over Malaysia besides Sabah.

When MCO was first imposed on March 18, and until the end of August when RMCO (Recovery Movement Control Order) started, MKN and the Health Ministry (KKM) were able to implement very good monitoring, testing and segregating infected areas in Red Zones to prevent Covid from spreading. The daily statistics dropped to single digit. Therefore, in this CMCO 2.0, rightfully MKN and KKM should be able to control it again.
