Duty of all to protect water resources


I REFER to June H. L. Wong’s article “Wading into troubled waters” (The Star, Sept 9). “Yes, we’ve got our water back but we risk future disruptions as long as there is no concrete, sustainable plan to prevent contamination of this precious resource.”

This situation reflects the lack of concerted efforts by the relevant authorities to address the long-running issue of supply disruptions due to contamination of raw water sources.
