Gender inequality is systemic, cultural

I AM one of millions around the world who celebrated the blistering rebuke of American lawmaker Ted Yoho by US Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (popularly known as AOC; pictured, above). Yoho’s hateful misogyny has no place in public office.

As AOC pointed out, the problem is deeply cultural.
