Feeding wildlife can be dangerous for hikers

WHEN I hike Kledang Hill in Ipoh, there is usually a sense of calm and security despite the proximity to wildlife. Many people walk up and down this hill without feeling threatened even though we can see monkeys walking along the road and jumping among the trees.

Recently, though, that calm and security was threatened by a troop of monkeys that gathered by the road leading up.
