I AM encouraged by the fact that science is being mentioned a lot more in the current Parliament sittings. This augurs well for the nation, since science and technology is the key solution provider for the many ills afflicting the world.
The Academy of Sciences Malaysia has for years been pushing to mainstream national debates on science especially among our lawmakers. The current meeting shows signs of promise.
