Prepare for the worst but remain hopeful and united


Health Ministry director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah is to be commended for preparing for the worst during the current Covid-19 outbreak in Malaysia: a third wave of infection that could see cases surging to 1,000 a day.

In light of a possible tsunami of new cases, he said it is better for his ministry to overprepare than to underprepare. Indeed, being underprepared is to be unprepared.
