TEACHING and learning of Science and Maths in English (PPSMI) does not compromise the status of Bahasa Malaysia as our national language because the majority of the subjects are still being taught in BM.
With PPSMI, pupils will have more opportunities to use English, thus enabling them to improve their proficiency in the language. This is especially so for those who do not use English outside the school, such as at home.
