Abolishment of Science and Arts streams: Shortage of teachers, facilities remain unresolved, unprioritised


THE decision by the Education Ministry to abolish Science and Arts streaming for Form 4 students is one that will limit their options – especially those in rural areas that are prone to teacher shortages and suitable facilities. Evidently, Pakatan Harapan has not researched and studied the implications that the abolishment will bring.

Close to 21 months under Pakatan rule, people have seen much blunders and misgivings, particularly from the Education aspect. Much was promised, yet the disappointment is proportional.
