I REFER to the report “Merger good for the aviation biz” (The Star, Dec 14).
The decision by the Cabinet to merge the Malaysian Aviation Commission (Mavcom) with the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM) is certainly a move forward for the local aviation industry. It is clear that the aim is to have only one regulator.
