Not all rosy in Pisa score for Malaysia

RESULTS of the Programme for International Student Assessment (Pisa) when ranked by position overall shows that in reading, Malaysia is at number 56, 47 for Mathematics and 48 for Science. This compares with our overall position at number 52 in 2012.

The improvement is marginal, being in the bottom third for reading and just making it into the middle band for Mathematics and Science. The situation is not as rosy as painted by the Education director-general.
