MUCH has been said and written about our country lately implying that it is going nowhere despite the fact that a large number of Malaysians voted in a new government with tremendous hope in a New Malaysia.
We were hoping for a better government, one with almost zero corruption, that was efficient, just, progressive and forward-thinking. One that works with compassion, kindness and inclusiveness, especially for the underprivileged and marginalised. One that spends much less time politicking and finding fault in other people’s private lives so that it can utilise its time more productively.
