OVER the past couple of weeks, I have been receiving numerous messages from friends driving past the former Jalan Semangat, attaching images of the newly named Jalan Prof Khoo Kay Kim. For me and my family, this has been the culmination of accolades that we have received over the past two and a half months, following the passing of my husband on May 28.
Though the dust has settled, it has been a challenging time for me as I was truly not prepared for what was to come and what I had to endure since my husband left me, hence the delay in writing this letter of gratitude to all those who reached out to us and continue to do so.
