ALMOST 15 months have passed since the 14th General Election (GE14), and the eerie feeling of taking the wrong fork in the road hangs over many of us who opted for change and voted with our feet. One after the other, tremors wrought by political gaffes have rocked us, brought on by the wrong choice of words, errors of judgement, infantile decision-making, moral and ethical dramas and so on.
These would have been brushed aside as a sideshow due to growing pains or teething problems if they were by or about junior cadres in the ruling political coalition. But we are talking about ministers and a senator here. What gives?
