I WOULD like to thank Nik Safiah Nik Ismail for her very interesting views and observations in the letter “Spark needed for change in nursing profession” (The Star, June 22).

I would like to add my two sen worth to the issue of nurses’ qualification. It’s not the diploma or certificate you possess that makes you a good nurse with foresight and vision for the betterment of the profession. Rather, it is your love and commitment to your profession and your vision of what it should be.
