I RECENTLY did a self-drive holiday in Malaysia with my family and am awed by your country’s beauty.
The pristine beaches of Port Dickson allowed my sons to experience the marine ecosystem first hand, and we had fun at Pantai Saujana.
At Cameron Highlands, we were mesmerised by the farms, which were very educational, and the flowers were a sight to behold.
In Ipoh, it was amazing to see Buddha statues in the Perak Caves. Interestingly, the cave is still living and one can observe stalactites being formed.
At Bukit Merah’s Orangutan Island, we learnt how orangutans are rehabilitated amidst the lush greenery and beautiful lake.
I know there are still many unexpected treasures to be discovered. Being your immediate neighbour down south, we Singaporeans are blessed to be able to access such beauty simply by crossing the Causeway.
I definitely look forward to another holiday in this beautiful country.
Terima kasih, Malaysia!
