I WOULD like to say a big thank you to Frustrated Assist User for raising the issues faced by employers and human resources personnel in using the Social Security Organisation’s (Socso) Assist portal, “Socso portal needs to be more user-friendly” (The Star, May 16).
Before Assist was introduced, there was the iPerkeso portal which, in my opinion, was a more usable system. It totally baffles me that Socso would waste so much of its contributors’ money to come up with a new system which has turned out to be several steps backward compared to the iPerkeso system which it has abandoned.
