Time to push for build and sell concept

THE video of the altercation between a representative of a high-end developer and purportedly dissatisfied customer that is going viral on social media now is but one of the manifestations of the huge amount of displeasure among home buyers over the unsatisfactory build quality of properties delivered to them.

In recent years, despite the exorbitant increase in their prices, the build quality of properties and overall customer satisfaction have dropped. I strongly believe that it is time for the government to push forward legislation to allow developers to build and then sell, a concept that has taken root in developed countries such as Australia. This concept will significantly reduce buyers displeasure as well as force developers to come up with high quality products.
