TRANSPARENCY International’s (TI) Corruption Index for 2018 (CPI 2018), which was released on Jan 29 this year, reveals that there is a correlation between corruption and democracy.
The report noted that democratic governments or well-established democracies are less corrupt than autocratic regimes.
