Real struggle to get mum’s aid money

MY 86-year-old mother gets my father’s monthly pension of RM380.69. She is therefore entitled to the RM500 one-off payout which the government is giving to retired civil servants receiving a monthly pension of RM1,000 and below. But my mother has not received the money yet.

To help her, I have been calling 03-8885 4648 more than 10 times a day but all I get is a computerised message saying the lines are busy and that I would be attended to shortly. But then the call is cut off. I wrote to the e-mail address: bantuanone-off@jpa.gov.my, but the e-mail bounced back.
