I REFER to the letter “Foreign spouses yearn to go out to work” (The Star, Nov 17), and would like to say that I sympathise with the writer.
Since the issue of foreign spouses working in the country is a long-standing and permanent one, and since there is no sign as yet that the law will be changed, perhaps what is needed is a new approach.
