Good to have two deputy education ministers

I READ with interest the article on the launch of the 2017 Annual Report of the Malaysia Education Blueprint 2013 – 2025 (StarEducate, Sunday Star, Aug 5).

It’s my humble opinion that with so many academics, teachers and various stakeholders communicating numerous ideas on reforming our education system to the Education Minister over these past few weeks, I believe Dr Maszlee Malik’s plate is full. As an educator myself, I feel there is an urgent need to appoint two deputy ministers, one to look after tertiary education and the other to oversee schools.
